DJ Mad Max is working to bridge the gap between old & new school Hip-Hop through his show Sports and Hip-Hop with DJ Mad Max. With his vast Hip-Hop knowledge and unique interview style, he is introducing his generation to the legends that started it all. The show features a wide variety of guest stars including Hip-Hop artists of the past & present, R&B artists, producers/DJs, industry managers, and even pro athletes. When possible guest rappers bless the show with a freestyle. Max likes to mix it up and talk sports with his Hip-Hop guests, and Hip-Hop with his sports guests.

Shoutout to Jacksonville, Texas' next up and coming artist Cico P for coming on my show for an interview! Cico P talked about his new mixtape NawfJaxx, his single Tampa reaching #97 on the Top 100 Billboard charts, and the important advice that Kevin Gates has given him. He discussed putting his own entertainment label Dawgties Entertainment together and explained why it is important for all artists to put their own label/team together to understand the business side of music. He also got into playing football at a young age and how he started making music on the I Am T-Pain app when he was 13 years old. Cico has some more NawfJaxx visuals coming soon. He will be performing at Los Angeles' Rolling Loud and will be dropping a new mixtape in October. Stay tuned!

Shoutout to Chicago and Joilet, Illinois' own RealYungG for coming on my show for an interview! RealYungG talked about his father booking his first studio session, moving from Chicago to Joilet, and making connections with major artists such as Gunna, Lil Durk, and Lil Baby before they signed their major label deals at small venue shows. He got into his new albums Mixed Emotions 4 and Your Rappers Favorite Rapper. He discussed what he learned from his time in college before dropping out and applying what he learned while majoring in Communications to his brand. He also got into building his own label YGN Ent, his thoughts on the YSL artists being charged with violating the R.I.C.O. Act, and his Legacy Begins documentary series that he plans on continuing on his YouTube channel. Stay tuned for Mixed Emotions 5 and his upcoming visuals that are dropping soon!

Thank you to super producer, 2015 Global Spin Award winner, and 1/2 of The Cool Kids Chuck Inglish for coming on my show for an interview! Chuck discussed his/The Cool Kids’ new albums BABY OIL STAIRCASE / CHILLOUT and BEFORE SHIT GOT WEIRD. He talked about his love of sneakers, his early life of growing up in Detroit, and wanting to play football at Michigan. He got into wanting to be an actor, auditioning for Ice Cube in Straight Outta Compton, and acting in Widows with Viola Davis and Liam Neeson. He also talked about The Cool Kids breaking up because the industry was sucking the fun out of the collaboration, getting back together with Sir Michael Rocks, and if fame is overrated. He also got into his relationship with the late great Mac Miller, social media being the focal point of the music industry right now, and that prominent artists work regular jobs behind the scenes. Chuck announced that The Cool Kids have a new album called Hi-Top Fade and a movie in the works. Stay tuned!

Thank you to the Bay Area's own Offset Jim for coming on my show for an interview! Offset Jim discussed his new project Rich Off The Pack, his love for 90s R&B, and seeing Brandy at a house party. He talked about meeting E-40 and Too $hort, Oliver from OVO reaching out to him on Instagram to model OVO clothing, and what the Bay Area's Illmatic may be. He got into finding out when Sway Calloway grew up on his block, moving to New York City, and his friendship with Lil Baby. Offset Jim also talked about being a Golden State Warriors fan, Klay Thompson visiting his block, and his appearance in a movie coming out soon. Stay tuned!

Thank you to Cleveland, Ohio and Dublin, Georgia's own R&B singer Chris Knite for coming on my show for an interview! Chris Knite talked about his early life of growing up in Cleveland, Ohio and Dublin, Georgia, singing in the choir at a young age, and Avant being his cousin. He discussed the call that he received early on his career to write hooks for artists such as 2 Chainz and French Montana. He got into having the opportunity to open up for legendary artists such as: Anthony Hamilton, The Isley Brothers, R. Kelly, Keith Sweat, Doug E. Fresh, Big Daddy Kane, and more. Chris also talked about the R&B scene today, record labels valuing numbers over the art, and getting Grammy consideration for his song Ready for Love. Thank you to Flint, Michigan's own Louie Ray for coming on my show for an interview. Louie Ray discussed his new collaboration album with Ysr Gramz called Lougramz, his newest single Cash App making the top 10 on Triller songs, and his upcoming album Still Grinding 4. He got into being on tour, the Flint, MI Hip-Hop scene, artists copying the Flint flow, and bringing opportunity to artists who want to make it out of Flint. He talked about working with Dave East on his song Today, not wanting to make the big radio hit record all of the time, and the albums that he has in the vault with YN Jay. He also told the story of meeting YN Jay for the first time, having his own independent label Still Grinding Entertainment, and wanting his deserved recognition. Thank you to Ira From Staten Island for calling into my show to discuss the New York Jets' 2022 NFL Draft picks, the pick that he thinks will have the most impact right away, and why there is no reason for this team not to be in contention in December. He talked about this draft being the best Jets draft on paper if these picks pan out, the organization believing in Mekhi Becton, and if they may acquire a few veterans before the start of the season. He also mentioned that the media needs to give Zach Wilson time before making any decisions on if he is our long-term answer at quarterback.

Thank you and shoutout to New Haven, Connecticut's own R&B singer Jaz for coming on my show for an interview! Jaz discussed his early life of growing up in CT, growing up in a music-oriented family, and when he started playing piano. He talked about signing with Musicbox Recording Group, wanting to be the superstar to put CT on the map on a national level, and Kevin Liles inviting him to perform and tell his story on his 300 ENT platform. Jaz got into the background of his name, working with Mansa on his song Cold Town, and wanting to make an acoustic album. He spoke about attending arts school and wanting to venture into acting as well. He announced that he has a lot of new music on the way. Stay tuned!
