Shoutout to Mount Vernon, NY's own Niko Brim for coming on my show for an interview! Niko Brim discussed his upcoming B4THETHRONE EP, Rapsody serving as a mentor to him, and his conversation with DJ Premier while being on tour with Rapsody. He talked about his high school rap cyphers being a main reason why he chose to pursue a career in Hip-Hop, being able to work with 9th Wonder, and helping to make Juneteenth a national holiday. He got into his Underdog series on YouTube and his thoughts on record labels and radio stations not promoting real emcees. Big thank you to the legendary 2x Grammy Award winning producer Drumma Boy for coming on my show for an interview! Drumma Boy discussed being born into a musical family, attending the University of Memphis, and making connections with Outkast, Pastor Troy, Gangsta Boo, Scarface, and Bun B, while in college. He reflected on Drake name dropping him in the hit song that he produced for Birdman called Money to Blow and knowing that Drake would blow up to be the biggest artist in music. He stressed the importance of giving advice and helping young creatives & producers like the legends did for him. He told the story of R. Kelly stealing and taking credit for the Salute beat that he produced for Whitney Houston, the first time he saw Jay-Z, and Beyoncé being his top goal to produce for. He got into his musical work for TV & film, including Empire, Monica's BET reality series Still Standing, Pepsi commercials, and his upcoming soundtrack release. We went over the hits he produced over the years including: Jeezy's Standing Ovation & Put On, Waka Flaka Flame's No Hands, and Migos' Look At My Dab. He also talked about how it felt winning 2 Grammy Awards on his production work for Usher. His new album Drumma Boy & Friends will feature Ludacris, Migos, Mulatto, Young Dolph, and Gucci Mane. Big thank you to 4x Emmy Award winning host Alan Hahn for coming on my show for an interview! Alan discussed his thoughts on the Nets signing Paul Millsap & LaMarcus Aldridge, the Knicks' offseason moves, and Quentin Grimes, Miles McBride, & Obi Toppin's summer league performances. He talked about Zach Wilson and believes that he has gotten more hype than Sam Darnold. He went over his time as a basketball player in college at LIU Post, writing for the school newspaper The Pioneer, the hardships that he faced getting into the industry, and his time at Newsday. He got into how he landed his job covering the Knicks' pre and post games on MSG Network as well as his shows on ESPN Radio on 98.7 FM. He also talked about how he got his nickname Han Solo and listed both his top rappers & Hip-Hop albums of all time. Thank you to Ira From Staten Island for calling into my show! Ira talked about the NY Jets and Zach Wilson's pre-season performance, the crushing injuries that this defense has endured during camp, and his thoughts on the weakened defense now. He gave his week 1 and 2 predictions for the 2021-2022 NFL season, where the Jets will play the Panthers in week 1 and have the home opener in week 2 against the Patriots. He also talked about the Zach Wilson vs. Sam Darnold storyline and advises people wait two years to conclude who is the better quarterback.

Thank you to Ira From Staten Island for calling into my show to talk about the New York Jets! Ira gave his expectations for the upcoming New York Jets 2021-2022 season. He talked about Zach Wilson's struggles in practice and that it is going to take some time before we see him play up to high expectations. He gave his thoughts on the additions that the Jets made in the offseason and the draft with Corey Davis, Keelan Cole, Morgan Moses, Elijah Moore, Michael Carter, and others. He made it clear that the Jets still have a lot to do including improving the tight end and secondary positions. He also believes that Marcus Maye is a done deal as far as not returning next season to play for the Jets because they were unable to give him an extension in the offseason. Ira closed the show stressing how important it is for people to get the vaccine in order for Covid-19 cases to decrease and hopefully put an end to this pandemic.

Big thank you to the legendary voice of the New York Yankees Suzyn Waldman for coming on my show for an interview! Suzyn talked about starting out on broadway & theater, joining WFAN in 1987, and the hardships she faced for being a woman in the broadcasting industry. She is the first woman in history to be a full time color commentator for a professional team. She got into her experience in TV at WPIX in the 90's, calling St. John's basketball games, and covering the Knicks. She told the story of when she first worked with her play-by-play partner John Sterling. We discussed the impact that sports and the Yankees had on the healing process of 9/11 and she told her story of witnessing the September 11th attacks. We also talked about her help in ending the 14 year feud between Yogi Berra and George Steinbrenner as well as her calling Derek Jeter's last game. Suzyn is also the first woman to call a MLB World Series, which was in 2009 when the Yankees defeated the Phillies in 6 games. At the end of the interview, she gave her thoughts on the Yankees acquiring Joey Gallo and Anthony Rizzo as well as what she thinks the outcome of their season will be.

Thank you to MSG Network's Bill Pidto for coming on my show for an interview! Bill discussed his experience at Cornell University, his start in sports broadcasting at WVBR in Ithaca, New York, and his time at ESPN. He talked about how social media has changed television broadcasts when it comes to reporting sports, his start at MSG Network, and the MSG 150. He gave his thoughts on Julius Randle's playoff performance, what the Knicks should do in the off-season, and what the Rangers can improve on for next season. He talked about winning an Emmy and being nominated for another one this year as well as what it means to him to work alongside the legendary Walt "Clyde" Frazier.

Thank you to Brooklyn, NY's own Skyzoo for coming on my show for an interview! Skyzoo discussed his new album All the Brilliant Things, the gentrification that has been taking place in Brooklyn, gentrification in Hip-Hop, and his reaction to people calling his first album The Salvation a classic. He got into his well-known stories of when he could not go to a Ruff Ryders session with DMX, The Lox, and Eve when he was a teenager due to watching his younger brother and giving his demo tape to a Bad Boy Records member at a local store. He talked about his friendship with Tyrese and going to Mary J. Blige's house with him. Skyzoo also spoke about Charlamagne Tha God being his cousin. He also talked about the many legends that he has worked with including: DJ Premier, Pete Rock, 9th Wonder, Diamond D, and Talib Kweli. We closed out the show talking about his Knicks fandom as well as what the team should do in the offseason.

Huge thank you to the legendary and iconic actor John Amos for coming on my show for an interview! John Amos talked about his early life of growing up in East Orange, New Jersey, attending Colorado State University, and his involvement in both the NFL & boxing. He got into getting into the acting show business, starting out as Gordy Howard on The Mary Tyler Moore Show, his most memorable moments on Good Times as James Evans, and landing the role of Kunta Kinte in the hit series Roots. He discussed his true number one passion of being a live performer and experience of being on Broadway. He got into Coming to America, working with Eddie Murphy, and reprising his role as Cleo McDowell in Coming 2 America. He recently stared in a film called Because of Charley and talked about how the film was made during the pandemic. He also created a children's book that released in 2017 called A World Without Color. He ended the show talking about his role in George A Romero's Two Evil Eyes and what it was like working with one of the greatest horror movie creators of all time. Thank you to one of the nicest emcees there is and that is Milano Constantine for coming on my show for an interview! Milano talked about his newest albums Eating But Still Hungry with Showbiz and Write It in Blood with Body Bag Ben. He told the story of battling Big Pun and making the song Where Ya At with him. He also talked about the first time he met Big L and how he became affiliated with the legendary Hip-Hop group D.I.T.C. We analyzed the songs off of the albums, including the horror movie references and Broadway Joe. Milano talked about how Hip-Hop and horror are connected. He also looked back on his classic tracks Deal With A Feelin' and Rep For The Slums. He is currently working on Write It in Blood 2 as well as a new album with Showbiz.
