Thank you to Brooklyn, NY's own Skyzoo for coming on my show for an interview! Skyzoo discussed his new album All the Brilliant Things, the gentrification that has been taking place in Brooklyn, gentrification in Hip-Hop, and his reaction to people calling his first album The Salvation a classic. He got into his well-known stories of when he could not go to a Ruff Ryders session with DMX, The Lox, and Eve when he was a teenager due to watching his younger brother and giving his demo tape to a Bad Boy Records member at a local store. He talked about his friendship with Tyrese and going to Mary J. Blige's house with him. Skyzoo also spoke about Charlamagne Tha God being his cousin. He also talked about the many legends that he has worked with including: DJ Premier, Pete Rock, 9th Wonder, Diamond D, and Talib Kweli. We closed out the show talking about his Knicks fandom as well as what the team should do in the offseason.
