Shoutout to New Orleans' own Pell for coming on my show for an interview! Pell discussed his newest album Floating While Dreaming II, forming the collective glbl wrmng, and glbl wrmng's newest project Vol.1. He got into having a musical background, how Floating While Dreaming became one of the top independent projects in 2014, and what he learned from G-Eazy while being on tour with him. He talked about getting traction with Floating While Dreaming back in 2014 when social media had not become the go to platform for record labels looking for artists doing numbers instead of artists who have actual talent. He also talked about his recent experience of doing songs for Apple Music commercials and the song Queso off of the Tom & Jerry The Movie soundtrack. He announced that he is already panning to release new music soon. Stay tuned!

Thank you to Buffalo's own and one of the nicest emcees in the game 7xvethegenius for coming on my show for an interview! 7xvethegenius got into the beginning of her rap career, starting at the age of 9, meeting Conway The Machine & Benny The Butcher at the age of 11 or 12, and eventually getting involved with coding and technology. She discussed getting her footing back into the Hip-Hop scene in 2019, releasing 7xve Is Love and then in 2020 dropping Self 7xve. She talked about signing to DrumWork Music Group last year, her chemistry with Jae Skeese, and working with Conway in the studio. She also gave her thoughts on female emcees not being looped into the category with males as just emcees and how artists' visions can change once they make an abundance amount of money, which may be the reason why certain rappers' later albums may not sound as great as their earlier albums. This can also explain why certain rappers sound less hungry from when they were first starting out. 7xvethegenius is currently on tour with Conway & DrumWork Music Group called the Love Will Get You Killed Tour, she just released a new EP titled Thy Will Be Done, and is currently working on her new album. She announced that she will be dropping some merchandise soon as well. Stay tuned!
7xvethegenius' Thy Will Be Done is available to stream and for purchase on her website: https://audiomack.com/7xvethegenius/album/thywillbedone. https://7xveislove.com/store/7xvethegenius-Thy-Will-Be-Done-CD-p385078833.
