I want to thank Victor Carroll, Vietnam War Veteran and U.S. Marine, for calling into my show this past Monday night on WSJU Radio at St. John's University! Victor discussed his early life and growing up in Jersey City, NJ. He talked about getting drafted and going to boot camp. He discussed his time in Vietnam and doing two tours there. He spoke about the U.S. Marines today as well as how they are treated now compared to back then. He told me about the Veteran programs that he is involved in such as Hooks for Heroes. He also discussed a possible movie being made about his time in Vietnam. Most of all, thank you for your service for our country Victor Carroll!
