Thank you to the legendary R&B singer and producer Marc Gordon of Levert for coming on my show for an interview! Marc discussed how Levert formed, signing a 7 album deal with Atlantic Records, and getting turned down by everyone early on. He talked about working with Heavy D on Just Coolin', merging Hip-Hop and R&B, and the industry not being talent based like it once was. He got into the upcoming Levert Experience, why Levert broke up, and not being able to resolve the reunion issue he had with Gerald Levert before he passed away. He also got into working on the Freddy vs. Jason soundtrack, Missy Elliott, and creating Saving Our Entertainers Lives Foundation to help entertainers struggling with their mental health. Stay tuned!
