Big thank you to Horror icon Bill Moseley for coming on my show for an interview! Bill Moseley discussed the first Horror movie that frightened him as a kid, playing in the 1988 remake of The Blob, and how he got the iconic role as Chop Top in Tobe Hooper's The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Part 2. He talked about the shot of the dinner scene at the end of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Part 2. He got into meeting Rob Zombie, getting his iconic role as Otis Driftwood in House of 1000 Corpses, and meeting Sid Haig for the first time on the set in the Captain Spaulding makeup. He also got into playing Drayton Sawyer in Texas Chainsaw 3-D and how Trey Songz being in the movie helped make the film trend on social media. He also discussed his up and coming work including two recent movies that he did called Sin Eater and Prisoners of the Ghostland. Stay tuned for all of his up and coming work!

Thank you to Thom Mathews for coming on my show for an interview! Thom discussed how he got into acting, the long process it took for him to get the lead role as Freddy in The Return of the Living Dead, and his experience of working with the late great James Karen. He got into his audition and preparation for playing Tommy Jarvis in the fan favorite cult classic film Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives and the talks that he has had with writer and director Tom McLoughlin for a script if there was to be a 13th film. He talked about his appreciation growing for filmmaking and the horror genre while being an actor as well as ideas he has for horror films. Thom also got into his upcoming work, his portrayal of Tommy Jarvis being apart of Friday the 13th: The Game, and why the 80s were the best time for horror films.

Huge thank you to the legendary Master of Horror writer and director Tom Holland for coming on my show for an interview! Tom discussed his experience at Northwestern University & UCLA, his time as an actor, and his passion for the Horror genre at a young age. He talked about getting to write the follow up to Alfred Hitchcock's masterpiece Psycho, which is Psycho II and his experience of working with the legendary Anthony Perkins who played Norman Bates. He got into the dinner he attended, in which numerous directors, including Quentin Tarantino voted Tom Holland's Psycho II the greatest Horror movie sequel of all time. He talked about his directorial debut of his classic 1985 Fright Night and why he believed that Chris Sarandon would be the perfect fit to play Jerry Dandrige. He also discussed creating the original 1988 Child's Play, how he got the idea for Chucky, and why Brad Dourif was the perfect voice for Chucky. He also mentioned the novels that he is currently working on as well as a sequel to Fright Night that he is hoping to release by next Halloween in 2022. Stay tuned!

Big thank you to Ken Sagoes for calling into my show for an interview! Ken Sagoes discussed playing his famous role as Kincaid in A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors and A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master, seeing Robert Englund for the first time in the Freddy Krueger makeup, and what he learned most from working with Robert. He talked about Laurence Fishburne teaching him how to be a physical actor on the set of Dream Warriors, if there could be a remake of Dream Warriors, and his time as a staff writer for Paramount Pictures. He got into his time starting out as a security guard at Universal Pictures, studying under Marlon Brando and Edmund J. Cambridge, and his conversations with legends such as Alfred Hitchcock and Vincent Price. He won numerous awards for his short film Mc Henry Trial - Don't Judge a Kid By Their Hoodie that released in 2020. He is currently working on an important short film called The Secret Weapon that addresses the deplorable actions of Bull Connor and is raising money for it. Thank you to Brad Greenquist aka Victor Pascow in Stephen King's 1989 original movie adaptation of Pet Sematary for coming on my show for an interview! Brad discussed his early life of growing up in Virginia, discovering his Horror fandom through the Universal Monsters films, and getting the role of Victor Pascow in Pet Sematary. He talked about the make-up process, Charlie Sheen visiting his trailer during the production, and his stories of Fred Gwynne on the set of Pet Sematary. Brad told the story of seeing the 2019 remake of Pet Sematary in theaters with Denise Crosby, who played Rachel Creed in the original. He voiced his opinion on what he both approved and disapproved of in the remake. He got into being apart of the court scene in Gang Related with 2Pac, working with Winona Ryder in The Lost Souls, and his work on Star Trek Voyager and Deep Space Nine. He mentioned that he has a small role in a movie with Will Smith coming soon as well as a lead role in a short film. Huge thank you to legendary actress Adrienne Barbeau for coming on my show for an interview! Adrienne discussed her early life, her move from San Jose to New York, playing the first Rizzo in Grease on Broadway, and her time as a Go-go dancer for the mob. She talked about her experience on the hit TV sitcom Maude as Carol Traynor and reuniting with Bea Arthur on The View in 2007. She got into her role as Stevie Wayne in John Carpenter's The Fog and the radio host that inspired her role. Adrienne also got into her role as Wilma in Creepshow's The Crate, originally not wanting to be apart of the film, what it meant to be apart of the new Creepshow series on Shudder, and her experience of working with Wes Craven on Swamp Thing. She touched on her role as Rodney Dangerfield's wife in Back to School and voicing Catwoman in the Batman animated series from 1992-1995. In 1998, she released her own self-titled Country/Folk album. Adrienne described the moment when she realized that it was time to write a memoir titled There Are Worse Things I Could Do, which released in 2007. She has contributed to video games voicing Hera in God of War III, Dr. Tillson in Halo 4, Fallout 76, and Pink Eye in Mad Max that released in 2015. She has a lot on the way including a book on Grease, an episode of AJ & the Queen Ru-Paul, and Cowboy Bebop on Netflix. Stay tuned!

Thank you to Yan Birch aka The Stairmaster from The People Under the Stairs for coming on my show for my first interview of my 2021 October Horror shows! Yan Birch discussed life of growing up in Sweden, his first Horror film being Roger Corman's Slumber Party Massacre III, and getting the role as The Stairmaster in Wes Craven's 1991 classic The People Under the Stairs. He told stories of Wes Craven expanding his role in the film, hiding on a rooftop from people from Universal Studios when he went over-budget, and helping Brandon Adams get into his scene at the end of the film. Yan revealed that him and Wes remained close friends for years and there were talks of a sequel to The People Under the Stairs, but Wes never thought it could surpass the original. It was confirmed in 2015 that Wes Craven was going to make a People Under the Stairs TV series for SyFy, in which he was going to bring back original cast members including Yan. Yan got into his newest work including 99 Problems and Tale of Tails. He announced that there will be a 30th Anniversary People Under the Stairs panel at a convention in New Mexico this October on Halloween weekend with some of the original cast members.

Huge thank you to the iconic multiple Golden Globes and Emmy Award winning actor Henry Winkler for coming on my show for an interview! We began the interview talking about Henry's political views, the importance of climate change, and the uproar of people not wanting to receive the Covid-19 vaccine. We then got into his time in theater, his role as Butchey in The Lords of Flatbush, and how he was the reason for Sylvester Stallone making Rocky. Henry discussed getting the role of the most iconic TV character of all time Arthur Fonzarelli aka Fonzie or "The Fonz", his first day on the set of Happy Days, and if there will be another Happy Days reunion in the near future. He talked about what it was like working with Pat Morita, who played Arnold on Happy Days and later played Mr. Miyagi in the Karate Kid films. We then talked about Henry's role as Chuck Lumley in Ron Howard's 1982 Night Shift, working alongside Michael Keaton, and his cousin Richard Belzer. Fun Fact: Henry Winkler did not know that he and Richard Belzer were cousins until they did an episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit together. We talked about his role as Principal Himbry in the late great Wes Craven's 1996 classic masterpiece Scream, his death scene taking two hours to film, and his Fonz jacket being in the closet scene. Henry is afraid of watching horror films and told the story of seeing Jaws for the first time when it was in theaters back in 1975. Henry told me about how it felt winning an Emmy for the first time as an actor for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for Barry in 2018. We finished the interview talking about his important book series Hank Zipzer that he created with his writing partner Lin Oliver in 2003 to help kids who have dyslexia. He has a new book series called Alien Superstar and the final book of the trilogy is releasing this October. HBO's Season 3 of Barry will start filming on July 30th, 2021 and will be releasing soon. He is also the voice of Fritz in the new Monsters at Work animated series. Stay tuned! Big thank you to the legendary actor and director Bill Duke for coming on my show for an interview! Bill talked about the racism he endured in his early life, winning awards for his poetry, and his experience of growing up in Poughkeepsie, New York. He got into his time in college attending Boston University, New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, and the renowned AFI Conservatory, where he learned about film-making. We went over his work on Broadway, his first major role as Abdullah Mohammed Akbar aka Duane in Car Wash, and working alongside Richard Gere as Leon in American Gigolo. Bill is a major part of history as he is one of the first black directors, especially in television as he had his time directing for Dallas, Miami Vice, and The Twilight Zone. In 1985, he starred in Commando as Cooke alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger and Alyssa Milano. He talked about his fight scene with Arnold in Commando during the motel scene. He then got into his role as Sergeant Mac in Predator, how Kevin Peter Hall was not the first person to play the Predator in the film, and working with Carl Weathers once again a year later in Action Jackson. We discussed his most famous scene in cinema history in Menace II Society with Tyrin Turner as a detective where he has the famous line, "You know you done fucked up". We also got into his role as Levar in Get Rich or Die Tryin'. Despite his acting career, we went over his work as a director that includes Deep Cover, A Rage in Harlem, Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit, and Hoodlum. He recently released his book titled Bill Duke: My 40-Year Career on Screen and Behind the Camera and announced that he has two more books on the way. We also got into his Duke Media Foundation and how he helps the youth with his classes regarding acting and film-making. Bill mentioned that he wants to cast Snoop Dogg in one of his upcoming works. Thank you to Brooklyn, NY's own Skyzoo for coming on my show for an interview! Skyzoo discussed his new album All the Brilliant Things, the gentrification that has been taking place in Brooklyn, gentrification in Hip-Hop, and his reaction to people calling his first album The Salvation a classic. He got into his well-known stories of when he could not go to a Ruff Ryders session with DMX, The Lox, and Eve when he was a teenager due to watching his younger brother and giving his demo tape to a Bad Boy Records member at a local store. He talked about his friendship with Tyrese and going to Mary J. Blige's house with him. Skyzoo also spoke about Charlamagne Tha God being his cousin. He also talked about the many legends that he has worked with including: DJ Premier, Pete Rock, 9th Wonder, Diamond D, and Talib Kweli. We closed out the show talking about his Knicks fandom as well as what the team should do in the offseason.
