I want to thank Mr. Dalvin for calling into my show last night on WSJU Radio at St. John's University. He talked about his influences to make music as well as his brother Devante's gift for songwriting. They were born in Virginia, moved to North Carolina, and eventually moved to New York to sign with Uptown records. When they teamed up with K-CI and JoJo, they formed one of the greatest RnB groups of all time known as Jodeci. They went on to win four Billboard Awards and two Soul Train Awards. We discussed the making behind all of their albums and their hit song Forever My Lady was originally going to be called the Jodeci interlude. He also discussed what it was like working with some of the industries legends such as Puff Daddy, Redman, Suge Knight, 2Pac, and the Wu-Tang Clan. We talked about his classic solo album Met.A.Mor.Phic that released in 2000. He mentioned his favorite artists today and one who he would love to collaborate with is Drake. He confirmed that a Jodeci biopic is in the works. He said that we can expect a new Jodeci album this year, which I and many people will definitely be looking forward to! We discussed sports as well and he is a huge Dallas Cowboys fan! Thanks again Mr. Dalvin for calling into my show last night, this was a great interview! Follow

This interview is for Loko Warbucks' debut album Winter Sprinter, which will be available on all music platforms this Friday, March 1st! We broke down all the tracks on the album as well as the backstory behind them. The intro on this album is one of the greatest into's that I have ever heard, if not the greatest. He also told us what Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin is like as well as the ex-New York Jets head coach Todd Bowles. I want to thank Shawn Stockman for calling into my show last night. He is very personable and tells it like it is. He gave his opinion of the current generation of RnB artists out now as well as the Grammys. He gave backstories on most of the Boyz II Men albums including their first album Cooleyhighharmony, in which he said that every song on that album are their demos. The story behind their 1997 masterpiece album Evolution is heartbreaking, in which race started to play an issue with the direction of the group, in which they thought they might be finished with music. However, they would go on to make more great albums such as Nathan Michael Shawn Wanya, Full Circle, Throwback, Vol. 1, Collide, Love, and as well as their most recent Under The Streetlight. This year is the 25th anniversary of their sensational 1994 album "II", in which the Boyz II Men logo came into effect and would forever leave an imprint on music. They are going on tour for their anniversary of "II", so be on the lookout because they may be heading to your city soon! We talked about how technology is changing our world. We discussed his newest Ep titled Shawn and he will be releasing his first solo album this May! It is possible that we could also get another Boyz II Men album as well. Shawn also has a radio show on Dash Radio called Boomerang Radio, in which I highly recommend everyone to go check it out. On his radio show he plays 90s music along with talented artists from today. Shawn's passion's are playing the guitar and performing for fans. God bless you and keep doing what makes you happy! Thank you for everything you have done for music and we all can't wait to see what you have coming next!
