DJ Mad Max is working to bridge the gap between old & new school Hip-Hop through his show Sports and Hip-Hop with DJ Mad Max. With his vast Hip-Hop knowledge and unique interview style, he is introducing his generation to the legends that started it all. The show features a wide variety of guest stars including Hip-Hop artists of the past & present, R&B artists, producers/DJs, industry managers, and even pro athletes. When possible guest rappers bless the show with a freestyle. Max likes to mix it up and talk sports with his Hip-Hop guests, and Hip-Hop with his sports guests.

Thank you to Ira From Staten Island for calling into my show for an interview! Ira talked about the breaking news of Woody Johnson wanting to purchase Chelsea F.C., who the NY Jets GM Joe Douglas should sign at the start of free agency next Wednesday March 16th, and all of the different mock drafts that are going around the league. We went through all of the free agency and draft scenarios for the Jets and why they should select OT Ikem Ekwonu 4th overall and WR Garrett Wilson 10th overall. We also addressed Robert Saleh's comments about a low expectation season this year and that the 3rd year of his head coaching career will be a great year for the Jets.

Thank you to 2x Grammy Award, Academy Award, Golden Globes Award, and Soul Train Award winning artist, actor, and songwriter Rhymefest for coming on my show for an interview! Rhymefest talked about the obstacles that he faced trying to prove himself early on in the industry, signing to Mark Ronson, and his 2006 Blue Collar album. He got into his friendship with Kanye West, working on Donda 2, and why he doesn't want to watch the Jeen-Yuhs documentary yet. He discussed why he decided to run for alderman in the 20th ward in Chicago and the most important thing that he achieved in his life being that he got his father initiated in his family after being homeless for 30 years and not knowing who he was growing up. He also got into how his In My Father's House documentary landed him his first movie role as Big George in Emilio Estevez's The Public and working with Michael K Williams. He spoke about his conversations with Marilyn Manson and The Game as well as when he met Eminem for the first time at JumpOff and ScribbleJam battle raps. Big thank you to the number 1 media personality in Houston and 93.7 The Beat's Kiotti for coming on my show for an interview! Kiotti talked about his new album Grown Man Music, working with producer Christopher Thornton of The Frontrunnaz on the album, and getting into the radio industry. He discussed sampling his Nipsey Hussle interview on his song Never Gave Up, the importance of building your own brand, and how he built his own brand. He got into how building his own brand and a following got him the opportunity of becoming the Houston Rockets' DJ, meeting Hakeem Olajuwon, and his conversation with Hip-Hop legend Scarface about the Kanye West Jeen-Yuhs documentary the other night at the Toyota Center. He also talked about how freestyling opened up the doors for him in the music industry, Dino of H-Town being the first person to recognize his talent, and his next goal of becoming the number 1 personality in the game. Big thank you to Las Vegas' own Dizzy Wright for coming on my show for an interview! Dizzy talked about his early life transition from being born in Flint, MI then moving to Las Vegas, being homeless, and his mother getting him into the music industry at a young age, starting with his group DaFuture. He got into his experience with Just For Kids youth media and interviewing Nate Dogg before he died. He discussed what Layzie Bone told him early on in his career, turning down a Def Jam single deal after winning their competition, and why he is grateful for his time being signed with Funk Volume. He also got into being on tour with Logic, the Funk Volume distribution deal with Warner falling apart, and getting through tough times. He spoke about his reaction to when he heard Floyd Mayweather playing his song Floyd Money Mayweather, being on 106 & Park, and how his clothing store Still Movin is going. Dizzy announced that he has new music on the way, including a new single with DJ Hoppa called Promoter featuring Man Like Devin and B-Real. He also announced that he will be going on tour very soon. Thank you and shoutout to Compton's own 1TakeJay for coming on my show for an interview! 1TakeJay talked about his new album The Morning After, his experience of growing up in Compton, and how the 1TakeBoyz collective came together. He discussed his experience of being signed to a major label deal with Asylum and The Machine Works. He got into playing football in high school, being a huge sports fan, and performing at a USC game last week. He spoke about meeting Blueface for the first time, collaborating with Blueface on Her Bad, and when Wait Hol Up became his trademark. He also talked about his record "Hello" getting played on Power 106 after he made drops for the station after an interview, believing in karma, and giving money to the less fortunate. He announced that he has visuals for The Pay Back and Serra Cavaliers off of his new album The Morning After dropping soon. Stay tuned!

Thank you to Spanish Harlem's own Bodega Bamz for coming on my show for an interview! Bodega Bamz talked about his new album Vivir dropping this Friday, times when he has felt like focusing just on acting, and opening up for DMX. He discussed going to high school with Smoke DZA, his friendship with the late A$AP Yams as well as keeping in touch with Yams' mother, and his early days as a battle rapper when he went by the name Flawless the Demon. He told an exclusive story of recording a song in the studio for the first time with Smoke DZA and Nipsey Hussle was there. He got into when he stayed at Scott Disick's summer house in The Hamptons, Mark Ronson wanting him on the official Uptown Funk remix, and his meeting with Atlantic Records for a potential record deal not panning out. He also talked about acting always being his first passion, playing Carlos in SMILF on Showtime, and wanting to write his own screenplays. Shoutout to the first drill rapper from the Bronx and comedian Ron Suno for coming on my show for an interview! Ron Suno talked about his upcoming song with Rah Swish dropping in early March, his upcoming project, and being featured on NBA 2K. He got into his lifestory of growing up in Co-Op City in the Bronx, how a truth or dare by touching a cop's gun at an after school program made him want to take risks, and the Weave Challenge being his most risky skit. He discussed the last time he spoke with Fivio Foreign, working with Dusty Locane for the Grabba (Remix), and when he started to realize that people were taking him seriously both as a rapper and a comedian. He also spoke about how he copes with not getting the recognition and credit that he rightfully deserves for starting drill in the Bronx. Huge thank you to the Hip-Hop icon Darryl "DMC" McDaniels of Run-DMC for coming on my show for an interview! DMC talked about his new children's book Darryl's Dream, how Run-DMC formed, and his experience of going to catholic private school. He discussed his time attending St. John's University for business management, when the conversations started happening between Run-DMC and Aerosmith to create their hit song Walk This Way, and their My Adidas performance at Madison Square Garden landing them their endorsement deal with Adidas. He got into MC Hammer dissing Run-DMC and being apart of 3rd Bass' The Gas Face music video. He also talked about Biggie Smalls wanting to meet him, putting his lyrics on My Downfall off of Life After Death, and how Puff Daddy & Suge Knight should have resolved their beef. DMC also got into his period of depression, overcoming it, and finding out that he was adopted. DMC announced that he has new music on the way and 2 new songs out now, including Ghetto Metal. Bizzy Crook discussed his upcoming album Saint Lazarus, meeting Kanye West at a New Years Eve party, and what he has planned for 2022. He got into the depression he has dealt with in the past, hiring a spiritual trainer, and how he has learned to overcome his depression state of mind. He talked about his most life-changing move to Los Angeles, connecting with Leon Thomas III, and French Montana supporting him as well as collaborating with him on the Dios Mio (Remix). He also got into his father being a bodyguard for a royal family in Egypt, signing to Mona Scott at the age of 18, and his experience apart of the South Florida Hip-Hop collective PayUp! Game. Abby discussed her upcoming project Shapeshift that she plans to release near the Summer, growing up in Staten Island, and signing to Cinematic Music Group. She talked about her album Who Cares? being the project that defined her both as a person and as an artist. She got into working with Smoke DZA on her song First Day Out, wanting to work with Benny the Butcher, and why Baby Keem's music speaks to her. She explained why and what made her believe that she has spoken her whole life into existence, her musical background, and starting out doing Gospel Rap.
