DJ Mad Max is working to bridge the gap between old & new school Hip-Hop through his show Sports and Hip-Hop with DJ Mad Max. With his vast Hip-Hop knowledge and unique interview style, he is introducing his generation to the legends that started it all. The show features a wide variety of guest stars including Hip-Hop artists of the past & present, R&B artists, producers/DJs, industry managers, and even pro athletes. When possible guest rappers bless the show with a freestyle. Max likes to mix it up and talk sports with his Hip-Hop guests, and Hip-Hop with his sports guests.

Shoutout to Atlanta's own Metro Marrs for coming on my show for an interview! Metro Marrs talked about the meaning behind his new project title Last Train 2 Marrs, the meaning behind the lyrics "I can't stay, gotta relocate" on his song Vain, and his song Violence featuring Duke Deuce. He got into why Quality Control was the perfect fit for him to sign a major record deal, his father being signed to Red Stone Studios, and being popular at school, while also keeping to himself. He discussed the name Popular Loner preparing him for the music industry, a feature with Migos on the way, and the importance of giving back through his Loners Foundation with the Rodney Dave Fund Scholarship. Metro announced that he will be dropping a deluxe to Last Train 2 Marrs this September. Stay tuned!

Shoutout to Texas' own KaceeDaKidd for coming on my show for an interview! KaceeDaKidd talked about dropping out of college when he got cut from the football team, music always be in his family, and relocating to Atlanta to better his music career. He talked about how he has been handling the grief of losing his mother, his career taking off slow, and why he is considering going back to college when he makes it big. He announced that he has three singles on the way and two features that he wants for two of those features. Stay tuned!

Thank you to Boston, Massachusetts' own Erica Pinkett for coming on my show for an interview! Erica talked about reprising her role as Tina in Secret Society 2 Never Enough, the obstacles that she faced trying to make it in the industry, and manifesting being in 2Pac's biopic All Eyez on Me, in which she portrayed Briana based on Ayanna Jackson who falsely accused 2Pac of rape. She discussed meeting Winsome Sinclair who casted 2Pac in the 1992 classic film Juice and 10 months later receiving a call from her with the opportunity to audition for All Eyez on Me. She got into working with Demetrius Shipp Jr., the unfortunate backlash that the biopic faced, and how to avoid being typecast in reality TV. Erica also talked about the Black History that is not being highlighted in Boston, her book & script that she is working on, and her upcoming projects that she has on the way. Stay tuned!

Thank you to Texas and Atlanta's own R&B artist Ayanis for coming on my show for an interview! Ayanis talked about her newest single U Betta featuring Kalii, leaving Atlantic Records, and why she decided to go independent. She discussed being apart of The Musiq Committee, her record with Ne-Yo that she hopes to release soon, and not reaching the pinnacles that she's wanted to reach yet. She got into starting out singing in church, recording covers in her closet that would help get her discovered by Pendrick formerly known as Mello The Producer, and landing her deal with Atlantic Records. She also talked about the importance of validating yourself before others and her thoughts on if it is more difficult to make it or stay afloat once you make it in the entertainment industry. Ayanis announced that she will be dropping a new single produced by Bangladesh soon and will be performing at Moonstone Fest on October 29th in Birmingham, Alabama.

Thank you to Ira From Staten Island for calling into my show to discuss the 2022 New York Jets training camp. He talked about what he has seen Zach Wilson progress at, Mekhi Becton re-injuring his knee at practice, and the first preseason game against the Eagles this Friday night. He spoke about the rumors of the Jets signing OT Duane Brown, the importance of the team signing a veteran tackle before the season starts, and why he believes Garrett Wilson will be our number 1 wide receiver by next year. He also mentioned that Carl Lawson looks like he hasn't missed a beat since his injury last season.

Shoutout to Queens' own Kyah Baby for coming on my show for an interview! Kyah Baby talked about her newest project P.S. It's Not About You, 50 Cent shouting her out on Big Boy's Neighborhood morning show, and Ghostface Killah connecting with her on Instagram as well as their possible upcoming collaboration together. She discussed quitting her job and risking being broke to pursue her music career. She got into the worst no that she experienced by not winning at Hot 97's Summer Jam and the yes that changed her life. Kyah got into her Funk Flex freestyle being ranked number 6 by Complex and that her and Flex have work on the way. She also talked about social media being toxic, Queens staying true to the real New York Hip-Hop sound, her acting work in Frenemies, and wanting to perform for Rolling Loud. Big thank you to Richmond, VA's Chad Coleman for coming on my show for an interview! Chad talked about playing Dennis Wise aka Cutty on The Wire, The Wire turning 20 years old this year, and his time on set with Method Man. He discussed being a foster kid and giving back to foster kids today. He got into his time in the army, filming the first music video for the army, and doing PSA's with the Celtics, Jets, & Giants. He spoke about his first role as an actor as a stand-in on The Cosby Show, playing Z on It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, and his role as Tyreese in The Walking Dead. He also got into his fight scene with Andrew Lincoln, precautions that should be taken with working with firearms on set, and his memories of Michael K Williams. Chad also talked about voicing Coach in the Left 4 Dead 2 video game, his Humble Hollywood Podcast, his upcoming work, and wanting to do a new/different interpretation of The Elephant Man. Thank you to Hialeah, Miami, Florida's own Reyna Love for coming on my show for an interview! Reyna talked about the upcoming release of Secret Society 2 Never Enough, reprising her lead role as Celess, and working with Vivica A. Fox. She discussed what other roles inspired her to take on playing Celess, the synopsis of the new film of her character trying to make it big in Hollywood, and the plot line of the bigger you are the harder you fall relating to real life celebrities. She got into opening up her emotions while acting which she calls her Pandora's Box, her method of manifesting her dreams into fruition, starting out on Sesame Street as Queenie due to her mom pushing her to act, and what she is manifesting to accomplish next. Thank you to Berkeley, California and the Bay Area's own Rexx Life Raj for coming on my show for an interview! Rexx Life Raj talked about his new album The Blue Hour, going through grief from losing both of his parents in 2021, and creating this new album as a form of therapy to not only help himself, but others who are dealing with the loss of loved ones as well. He discussed questioning God after losing his parents, the importance of speaking to a therapist, and how his artistry has changed since the grief period. He got into playing football, tackle and guard, at Boise State University and the changes that football may eventually make due to players getting CTE. He also talked about going to middle and high school with G-Eazy, going through a bad depression phase after graduating from college, and working for free for his parents' package delivery service company. Rexx also spoke about getting his manager Ari, signing with Empire, DJ Kay Slay being the first major radio show that he freestyled on, and the importance of giving back to charity.
