DJ Mad Max is working to bridge the gap between old & new school Hip-Hop through his show Sports and Hip-Hop with DJ Mad Max. With his vast Hip-Hop knowledge and unique interview style, he is introducing his generation to the legends that started it all. The show features a wide variety of guest stars including Hip-Hop artists of the past & present, R&B artists, producers/DJs, industry managers, and even pro athletes. When possible guest rappers bless the show with a freestyle. Max likes to mix it up and talk sports with his Hip-Hop guests, and Hip-Hop with his sports guests.

Shoutout to Detroit's own Valid for returning to my show for an interview! Valid discussed his new album Peach Brandy, going to Croatia with DJ Head, and his upcoming album release party. He talked about his story of getting to know Chino XL, Eminem's new album The Death of Slim Shady, and the current state of Detroit Hip-Hop. He got into why rock rap hasn't aged well, Ma Dukes giving him a custom painting of her son J Dilla, and getting a major movie placement. He also spoke about Ghostface Killah reposting him, going to lunch with Bizarre of D12, and why Hip-Hop legends are cast aside compared to legends in other genres. Stay tuned!
