DJ Mad Max is working to bridge the gap between old & new school Hip-Hop through his show Sports and Hip-Hop with DJ Mad Max. With his vast Hip-Hop knowledge and unique interview style, he is introducing his generation to the legends that started it all. The show features a wide variety of guest stars including Hip-Hop artists of the past & present, R&B artists, producers/DJs, industry managers, and even pro athletes. When possible guest rappers bless the show with a freestyle. Max likes to mix it up and talk sports with his Hip-Hop guests, and Hip-Hop with his sports guests.

Big thank you to Hip-Hop legend/icon Kool Keith and Hip-Hop producer/artist Marc Live for calling into my show for an interview! Kool Keith talked about putting together Black Elvis 2, addressing the backlash that he faced while performing Sex Style at an event when the pandemic was taking over on his song Kindergarten Adults, and the jealousy that Ultramagnetic MC's faced. He talked about why Sony was holding the first Black Elvis album when he was signed to them. Marc Live got into his production work on Black Elvis 2, what it's like working with Keith behind the scenes, and being the creator and consulting producer for Ice Loves Coco. Kool Keith also talked about seeing Michael Jackson at an iHop in Los Angeles, his song Plastic World off of Sex Style not getting a lot of attention, and the Black Elvis action figure that is currently available for pre-order.
