DJ Mad Max is working to bridge the gap between old & new school Hip-Hop through his show Sports and Hip-Hop with DJ Mad Max. With his vast Hip-Hop knowledge and unique interview style, he is introducing his generation to the legends that started it all. The show features a wide variety of guest stars including Hip-Hop artists of the past & present, R&B artists, producers/DJs, industry managers, and even pro athletes. When possible guest rappers bless the show with a freestyle. Max likes to mix it up and talk sports with his Hip-Hop guests, and Hip-Hop with his sports guests.

Big thank you to the one and only Ian Eagle for coming on my show for an interview! We opened the show talking about the Brooklyn Nets success this season so far, the Jets' QB situation, and the Knicks surprisingly exciting the NBA this season. Ian discussed his experience at Syracuse University and their college radio station WAER. He talked about his experience of working for Mike Tirico, Mike and the Mad Dog, and WFAN. He told stories of getting in the door at WFAN, doing play-by-play for the Jets & Nets, and eventually covering the Nets broadcasts for the YES Network. He has voiced the Nets games for 27 years. We also got into his most memorable calls and so much more!
