DJ Mad Max is working to bridge the gap between old & new school Hip-Hop through his show Sports and Hip-Hop with DJ Mad Max. With his vast Hip-Hop knowledge and unique interview style, he is introducing his generation to the legends that started it all. The show features a wide variety of guest stars including Hip-Hop artists of the past & present, R&B artists, producers/DJs, industry managers, and even pro athletes. When possible guest rappers bless the show with a freestyle. Max likes to mix it up and talk sports with his Hip-Hop guests, and Hip-Hop with his sports guests.

Thank you to RPI's own wide receiver Vinnie McDonald for coming on my show for an interview! Vinnie talked about his early life of being born in Maryland, moving to Queens, NY to Elmont, NY, and playing basketball before football. He discussed going to RPI, majoring in Industrial Management/ Engineering, and his college highlights for the RPI Engineers. He got into meeting with Giants scouts during practice in Fall of 2021, catching a touchdown in all of the nine games that he played in last year in crucial moments, despite being injured, and the Giants, Jets, and 49ers scouts attending his Pro Day. He also talked about overcoming his Patellar Tendon injury mentally, being the President of the Student Athletic Community, and giving back to people in low income housing. Vinnie finished the show talking about being 100% healthy, Nipsey Hussle being in his top 3 artists, and what will be going through his mind when a team picks him in the upcoming 2022 NFL draft.

Thank you to the University of Cal's own running back Marcel Dancy for coming on my show for an interview! Marcel talked about his experience at the NFL Combine and Pro-Day. He got into rushing for 1,994 yards in his two campaigns at Laney College, being a walk-on at Cal, and what he learned from his coach Justin Wilcox. He discussed creating his own non-profit organization, giving to money to students in kindergarten through 5th grade to pay for their groceries, and helping out families throughout the pandemic. He also spoke about meeting Usher and Tim Tebow while giving back on his trip to New Orleans. Marcel also mentioned what will be going through his mind on draft night, receiving interest from the 49ers, Vikings, and Packers, and that he is ready to give his all to the team that picks him up in this upcoming 2022 NFL Draft.

Thank you to upcoming superstar basketball player and emcee Flau'jae for coming on my show for an interview! Flau'jae talked about getting her distribution deal with Jay-Z's Roc Nation, committing to the LSU Tigers women's basketball team, and wanting to minor in business. She got into breaking the barrier of being just known as Camoflauge's daughter, seeing similarities between her and her late great father, and Boosie Badazz looking out for her. She also got into appearing on Jermaine Dupri's season 3 of The Rap Game, how she wasn't supposed to appear on The Rap Game originally, and performing on season 13 of NBC's America's Got Talent. Flau'jae discussed getting to know her coach Kim Mulkey, being named MVP of the Jordan Brand Classic, and her upcoming reality show with her mom on E! Stay tuned for her upcoming EP's as they will lead up to her next major project as well as her first year playing for the women's basketball team at LSU!

Flesh-N-Bone discussed his new album To the Bone, the strong message in his new song Dedication, and his political views (not mine). He talked about going out to California, Eazy-E signing Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, and Eazy-E taking the group out to The Tunnel in New York City to meet with Ice Cube to discuss a N.W.A. reunion. He got into the aftermath of Eazy-E's death, his lyrics being removed from Bone Thugs' songs, and opening up about going against all odds in his upcoming memoir. Flesh spoke about Mo Thugs, putting together a new collaboration album for Mo Thugs, and the recording session with Fat Joe and Big Pun for his song No Mercy on his debut album T.H.U.G.S. (Trues Humbly United Gatherin' Souls). He also got into his collaboration with Rev. Run of Run-DMC on his song World So Cruel, his unfortunate prison sentence, and his new comedy sketch TV show called Fun Howse. Shoutout to Detroit's own Baby Money for coming on my show for an interview! Baby Money discussed his new album Easy Money, signing to Quality Control Music, and how he could have played pro basketball. He talked about his brother putting him onto Smack DVD Battle Raps, the rhymes that he wrote down from those battle raps, and finding out that his dad was a rapper. He got into knowing Babyface Ray, 42 Dugg, and Tay B growing up. He also talked about performing for the Detroit Pistons' G-League team, being called an old-soul, and why he felt as though Detroit artists were blackballed. Thank you to Charlotte, North Carolina's own Jalen Santoy for coming on my show for an interview! Jalen talked about his new album Without Hesitation, his relationship with Reuben Vincent, and J. Cole giving him important advice. He got into meeting Kanye West at Sunday Service and the Jeen-Yuhs documentary inspiring him. He discussed playing soccer at NC State, how he could have gone pro, and the times that he has thought that he should have stuck to the path of playing soccer. We also spoke about his message on Pain of going to college and being left in debt after you graduate without a job. Jalen also got into meeting Ghazi Shami from Empire at a car show, his journey of moving and navigating through Los Angeles, and wanting to surpass his most known song Foreplay. Thank you to Ira From Staten Island for calling into my show for an interview! Ira talked about the breaking news of Woody Johnson wanting to purchase Chelsea F.C., who the NY Jets GM Joe Douglas should sign at the start of free agency next Wednesday March 16th, and all of the different mock drafts that are going around the league. We went through all of the free agency and draft scenarios for the Jets and why they should select OT Ikem Ekwonu 4th overall and WR Garrett Wilson 10th overall. We also addressed Robert Saleh's comments about a low expectation season this year and that the 3rd year of his head coaching career will be a great year for the Jets.

Kiotti talked about his new album Grown Man Music, working with producer Christopher Thornton of The Frontrunnaz on the album, and getting into the radio industry. He got into how building his own brand and a following got him the opportunity of becoming the Houston Rockets' DJ, meeting Hakeem Olajuwon, and his conversation with Hip-Hop legend Scarface about the Kanye West Jeen-Yuhs documentary the other night at the Toyota Center. He also talked about how freestyling opened up the doors for him in the music industry, Dino of H-Town being the first person to recognize his talent, and his next goal of becoming the number 1 personality in the game. Big thank you to legendary New York sports radio host Joe Benigno for coming on my show for an interview! Joe discussed his New York Jets fandom, that Zach Wilson may be their franchise quarterback, and if Robert Saleh will be gone after next year if he doesn't produce a winning season. He talked about meeting Joe Namath for the first time, the most painful Jets losses over the years, and what the Jets should do this offseason. He got into his 25-year career at WFAN, attending the Connecticut School of Broadcasting, and his relationship with both Mike Francesa and Don Imus. He also talked about starting his own independent platform and podcast called Oh the Pain Podcast. Joe releases two episodes a week, one on Monday and one Friday. He revealed that once football season is over, he will be having a guest based show. Stay tuned!
