DJ Mad Max is working to bridge the gap between old & new school Hip-Hop through his show Sports and Hip-Hop with DJ Mad Max. With his vast Hip-Hop knowledge and unique interview style, he is introducing his generation to the legends that started it all. The show features a wide variety of guest stars including Hip-Hop artists of the past & present, R&B artists, producers/DJs, industry managers, and even pro athletes. When possible guest rappers bless the show with a freestyle. Max likes to mix it up and talk sports with his Hip-Hop guests, and Hip-Hop with his sports guests.

Shoutout to Chicago and Joilet, Illinois' own RealYungG for coming on my show for an interview! RealYungG talked about his father booking his first studio session, moving from Chicago to Joilet, and making connections with major artists such as Gunna, Lil Durk, and Lil Baby before they signed their major label deals at small venue shows. He got into his new albums Mixed Emotions 4 and Your Rappers Favorite Rapper. He discussed what he learned from his time in college before dropping out and applying what he learned while majoring in Communications to his brand. He also got into building his own label YGN Ent, his thoughts on the YSL artists being charged with violating the R.I.C.O. Act, and his Legacy Begins documentary series that he plans on continuing on his YouTube channel. Stay tuned for Mixed Emotions 5 and his upcoming visuals that are dropping soon!

Thank you to super producer, 2015 Global Spin Award winner, and 1/2 of The Cool Kids Chuck Inglish for coming on my show for an interview! Chuck discussed his/The Cool Kids’ new albums BABY OIL STAIRCASE / CHILLOUT and BEFORE SHIT GOT WEIRD. He talked about his love of sneakers, his early life of growing up in Detroit, and wanting to play football at Michigan. He got into wanting to be an actor, auditioning for Ice Cube in Straight Outta Compton, and acting in Widows with Viola Davis and Liam Neeson. He also talked about The Cool Kids breaking up because the industry was sucking the fun out of the collaboration, getting back together with Sir Michael Rocks, and if fame is overrated. He also got into his relationship with the late great Mac Miller, social media being the focal point of the music industry right now, and that prominent artists work regular jobs behind the scenes. Chuck announced that The Cool Kids have a new album called Hi-Top Fade and a movie in the works. Stay tuned!

Thank you to the Bay Area's own Offset Jim for coming on my show for an interview! Offset Jim discussed his new project Rich Off The Pack, his love for 90s R&B, and seeing Brandy at a house party. He talked about meeting E-40 and Too $hort, Oliver from OVO reaching out to him on Instagram to model OVO clothing, and what the Bay Area's Illmatic may be. He got into finding out when Sway Calloway grew up on his block, moving to New York City, and his friendship with Lil Baby. Offset Jim also talked about being a Golden State Warriors fan, Klay Thompson visiting his block, and his appearance in a movie coming out soon. Stay tuned!

Thank you to Flint, Michigan's own Louie Ray for coming on my show for an interview. Louie Ray discussed his new collaboration album with Ysr Gramz called Lougramz, his newest single Cash App making the top 10 on Triller songs, and his upcoming album Still Grinding 4. He got into being on tour, the Flint, MI Hip-Hop scene, artists copying the Flint flow, and bringing opportunity to artists who want to make it out of Flint. He talked about working with Dave East on his song Today, not wanting to make the big radio hit record all of the time, and the albums that he has in the vault with YN Jay. He also told the story of meeting YN Jay for the first time, having his own independent label Still Grinding Entertainment, and wanting his deserved recognition. Big thank you to Carol City’s own Gunplay for coming on my show for an interview! Gunplay discussed his new album ALL B******t Aside, his studio session with Jim Jones for their song Oath, and having his own independent label distribution deal as well as ANML SHLTR. He talked about his early life of being born in El Paso, Texas, growing up in New York during the crack epidemic, and moving to Carol City. He got into meeting Rick Ross when he was in 10th grade, building Maybach Music with him, and the difficult hurdles he went through when the foundation of MMG was being built. He spoke about why he felt comfortable opening up about his overdose on drugs the day that DMX died, meeting DMX, and the studio session between him and Busta Rhymes. He mentioned that his song with the legendary Hip-Hop duo Capone-N-Noreaga will be releasing on his upcoming album. He also talked about his collaboration with Kendrick Lamar on their song Cartoon & Cereal, his collaboration with A$AP Rocky on Ghetto Symphony, and being backstage on tour with Jay-Z & Beyoncé in Dublin, Ireland. Gunplay also discussed his upcoming podcast about fishing and hunting, wanting to get into film, and being able to tour internationally soon. Stay tuned!

Thank you to upcoming superstar basketball player and emcee Flau'jae for coming on my show for an interview! Flau'jae talked about getting her distribution deal with Jay-Z's Roc Nation, committing to the LSU Tigers women's basketball team, and wanting to minor in business. She got into breaking the barrier of being just known as Camoflauge's daughter, seeing similarities between her and her late great father, and Boosie Badazz looking out for her. She also got into appearing on Jermaine Dupri's season 3 of The Rap Game, how she wasn't supposed to appear on The Rap Game originally, and performing on season 13 of NBC's America's Got Talent. Flau'jae discussed getting to know her coach Kim Mulkey, being named MVP of the Jordan Brand Classic, and her upcoming reality show with her mom on E! Shoutout to Dorchester and Chelsea, Massachusetts' own Kam Geez for coming on my show for an interview. Kam talked about his early life of growing up in Chelsea, Massachusetts, his first passion of playing basketball, and his beginner days of writing rhymes on his Nokia flip phone. He got into his love for acting and getting an A in his theater class when he was in high school. He also discussed his upcoming debut album Charge It To The Game that will be dropping soon. Shoutout to Arizona's own up and coming emcee Murkemz for coming on my show for an interview! Murkemz discussed growing up in Woodside in Queens, NY, moving to Arizona, and the Arizona Hip-Hop scene growing. He talked about his influences including Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and Big L, taking DMX's It's Dark and Hell Is Hot and Eminem's The Slim Shady LP from his mother, and the bars that he wrote down that sparked his Hip-Hop career. He got into what it meant for him to freestyle on Funk Flex, Ice T inviting him as a guest to his 10th anniversary of The Art of Rap, and Layzie Bone offering to mentor him. He also talked about Diamond D reaching out to him on Instagram to get him on The Diam Piece 3, his song Moonwalk Through Customs getting played in the 2019 The Shaft movie with Samuel L. Jackson, and getting connected with Ras Kass for their song Farewell. Murkemz announced that he will be dropping a new album before the summer as well as new freestyles. Stay tuned!

Flesh-N-Bone discussed his new album To the Bone, the strong message in his new song Dedication, and his political views (not mine). He talked about going out to California, Eazy-E signing Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, and Eazy-E taking the group out to The Tunnel in New York City to meet with Ice Cube to discuss a N.W.A. reunion. He got into the aftermath of Eazy-E's death, his lyrics being removed from Bone Thugs' songs, and opening up about going against all odds in his upcoming memoir. Flesh spoke about Mo Thugs, putting together a new collaboration album for Mo Thugs, and the recording session with Fat Joe and Big Pun for his song No Mercy on his debut album T.H.U.G.S. (Trues Humbly United Gatherin' Souls). He also got into his collaboration with Rev. Run of Run-DMC on his song World So Cruel, his unfortunate prison sentence, and his new comedy sketch TV show called Fun Howse.
