DJ Mad Max is working to bridge the gap between old & new school Hip-Hop through his show Sports and Hip-Hop with DJ Mad Max. With his vast Hip-Hop knowledge and unique interview style, he is introducing his generation to the legends that started it all. The show features a wide variety of guest stars including Hip-Hop artists of the past & present, R&B artists, producers/DJs, industry managers, and even pro athletes. When possible guest rappers bless the show with a freestyle. Max likes to mix it up and talk sports with his Hip-Hop guests, and Hip-Hop with his sports guests.

Thank you to Hialeah, Miami, Florida's own Reyna Love for coming on my show for an interview! Reyna talked about the upcoming release of Secret Society 2 Never Enough, reprising her lead role as Celess, and working with Vivica A. Fox. She discussed what other roles inspired her to take on playing Celess, the synopsis of the new film of her character trying to make it big in Hollywood, and the plot line of the bigger you are the harder you fall relating to real life celebrities. She got into opening up her emotions while acting which she calls her Pandora's Box, her method of manifesting her dreams into fruition, starting out on Sesame Street as Queenie due to her mom pushing her to act, and what she is manifesting to accomplish next. Shoutout to the underground comedy legend TK Kirkland for coming back on my show for an interview! TK talked about the recent mass shootings that have been occurring, why the news should stop reporting the shootings, and that AR-15's need to be banned. He discussed Al Hammond putting him on tour with acts such as: Keith Sweat, Teena Marie, and Bobby Brown and how those opportunities opened up the door for him to meet Eazy-E to open up for N.W.A. He got into there needing to be more security at comedy clubs following the incident that occurred with the person that rushed the stage when Dave Chappelle was performing. TK spoke about wanting to write a memoir, Faizon Love helping him from catching a charge, and managing Sandra Bullock with Artists You Management back in the day. Stay tuned!

Thank you to Compton, California and Atlanta's own Bambi aka The Bam for coming on my show for an interview! Bambi talked about her introduction to Hip-Hop, minoring in theater, and becoming an extra on the hit TV show Ugly Betty. She discussed meeting Lil Scrappy in ATL, why she kind of regrets doing Love & Hip Hop, and the difficulty of cameras filming what is going on in her personal life. She also got into what we can expect from her upcoming EP, her thoughts on reality TV shows before and after being apart of them, and her Shimmer Life clothing line.

Big thank you to Brooklyn, New York's own Maino for coming on my show for an interview! Maino discussed the new Lobby Boyz album, his I slap box the devil at night reference on the Lobby Boyz Anthem, and when he formed a brotherhood with Jim Jones to create their duo. He talked about the personal stories he told on the song Project Baby off of The Lobby Boyz album, how DJ Kay Slay helped him early on in his career, and Cormega putting him on Monsters Ball, in which that was the first album he was ever featured on. He got into his time with Universal Records, Tone from Trackmasters helping him get signed, and the story with Birdman being the reason why he left Atlantic Records. Maino spoke about portraying the shooter who shot 2Pac in the All Eyes On Me movie at Quad Studios, writing a show with his late friend Michael K Williams before he passed, and being the first NYC artist to work with Nipsey Hussle. Big thank you to Hip-Hop and R&B royalty CJ Wallace for coming on my show for an interview! CJ discussed carrying on his father, The Notorious B.I.G.'s legacy, portraying his father in his childhood in the 2009 Notorious biopic, and being interested in becoming a film director. He talked about today's Hip-Hop scene, Benny the Butcher adding 10 More Commandments to his father's classic song Ten Crack Commandments, and not letting people pressure him into following in his father's footsteps to mainly be a Hip-Hop artist. He spoke about 2Pac and gave his thoughts on the unfortunate beef between him and his father, in which he thinks it was the people they were surrounded by that escalated the tension. CJ also got into his THINK BIG movement that is fighting for the legalization of cannabis, police and criminal justice reform, and economic reinvestment into the communities that are harmed cannabis prohibition. Big thank you to the comedy legend TK Kirkland for coming on my show for an interview! TK Kirkland talked about opening up for acts such as: Patti LaBelle, N.W.A., DMX, The Whispers, MC Hammer, and Tone Loc. He discussed when he found his rapport on stage as a comedian, getting banned from the N.W.A. tour, and plans of him and Eazy-E starting Ruthless Comedy before Eazy-E passed away. He got into being selected for a scared straight program when he was younger, starting out doing skits in college at Arizona State, and raising money for Maxine Waters. He also talked about performing for 50 Cent and Eminem on MTV, Jay-Z performing at his birthday in Harlem in 1995 before Reasonable Doubt released, and working with Vin Diesel in the 1997 movie Strays. He closed out the show giving his reaction to and thoughts on the Will Smith Oscars incident as well as what he has coming up in the near future. Stay tuned!

Big thank you to the Bronx, NY and Atlanta's own Headkrack for coming on my show for an interview! Headkrack talked about his early life of growing up in the Bronx, the start of his Hip-Hop career at his school Christ The King's talent show, and wanting to be an A&R before pivoting into the radio industry. He discussed getting into the radio industry, starting out at 98.7 The Beat in Dallas, being apart of Dish Nation, and meeting Da Brat for the first time. Headkrack got into his thoughts on Hip-Hop now, DJ Kool Herc taking him and his wife around clubs in New York City, and being invited to Tyrese's house while Rev. Run of Run-DMC was there. He gave his opinion on cancel culture and reinventing yourself in the entertainment industry. He also got into boxing being his current passion as well as his upcoming boxing match. Headkrack also talked about his upcoming Mikrodose EP, his Education Course Series, and his love of Horror movies. Thank you to 2x Grammy Award, Academy Award, Golden Globes Award, and Soul Train Award winning artist, actor, and songwriter Rhymefest for coming on my show for an interview! Rhymefest talked about the obstacles that he faced trying to prove himself early on in the industry, signing to Mark Ronson, and his 2006 Blue Collar album. He got into his friendship with Kanye West, working on Donda 2, and why he doesn't want to watch the Jeen-Yuhs documentary yet. He discussed why he decided to run for alderman in the 20th ward in Chicago and the most important thing that he achieved in his life being that he got his father initiated in his family after being homeless for 30 years and not knowing who he was growing up. He also got into how his In My Father's House documentary landed him his first movie role as Big George in Emilio Estevez's The Public and working with Michael K Williams. He spoke about his conversations with Marilyn Manson and The Game as well as when he met Eminem for the first time at JumpOff and ScribbleJam battle raps. Rhymefest has a book called Love Lessons and a new album James and Nicky on the way. Stay tuned!

Thank you to Spanish Harlem's own Bodega Bamz for coming on my show for an interview! Bodega Bamz talked about his new album Vivir dropping this Friday, times when he has felt like focusing just on acting, and opening up for DMX. He discussed going to high school with Smoke DZA, his friendship with the late A$AP Yams as well as keeping in touch with Yams' mother, and his early days as a battle rapper when he went by the name Flawless the Demon. He told an exclusive story of recording a song in the studio for the first time with Smoke DZA and Nipsey Hussle was there. He got into when he stayed at Scott Disick's summer house in The Hamptons, Mark Ronson wanting him on the official Uptown Funk remix, and his meeting with Atlantic Records for a potential record deal not panning out. He also talked about acting always being his first passion, playing Carlos in SMILF on Showtime, and wanting to write his own screenplays.
