DJ Mad Max is working to bridge the gap between old & new school Hip-Hop through his show Sports and Hip-Hop with DJ Mad Max. With his vast Hip-Hop knowledge and unique interview style, he is introducing his generation to the legends that started it all. The show features a wide variety of guest stars including Hip-Hop artists of the past & present, R&B artists, producers/DJs, industry managers, and even pro athletes. When possible guest rappers bless the show with a freestyle. Max likes to mix it up and talk sports with his Hip-Hop guests, and Hip-Hop with his sports guests.

Shoutout to Lak for coming on my show Sports and Hip-Hop last night on WSJU Radio at St. John's University. Lak discussed becoming a rapper at an early age and hearing the reactions from others about his songs being played on a Philadelphia radio station. He explained why he chose the route of educating through lyrics and being the CEO of his own company known as Smart Hip Hop Global. His two albums Lesson 1: Hip-Hop & Education and Lesson 2: Hip-Hop & Education are available on all music platforms. He mentioned that two documentaries and a book will be on the way in the near future. I also want to thank Hip-Hop legend Capone for calling into the show to talk about his upcoming Ep with Lak that will release in early 2020. They have a song together called Redemption on Lesson 2: Hip-Hop & Education. Lak and Capone also gave their opinions on the state of Hip-Hop today. Lak spit two fire freestyles on the show over Big Daddy Kane's Mortal Combat and KRS One's A Friend. He also listed his professional sports teams that he is a fan of.

In the second hour of my show "Sports and Hip-Hop with DJ Mad Max" on WSJU Radio at St. John's University I discussed the Week 2 scores of the NFL, including the New York Giants loss to the Buffalo Bills. I gave the updates on the Cleveland Browns and New York Jets game on Monday Night Football up until halftime as well. After music break, I talked about the great experience I had attending the 2019 Connecticut HorrorFest this past weekend meeting some of my favorite horror movie actors including: Doug Bradley, Danielle Harris, Don Shanks, and David Naughton. They were all very personable and they really care about their fans! It definitely put me in the mood for Halloween this October and I am already looking forward to going next year! I want to thank Rontez Miles for calling into my show "Sports and Hip-Hop with DJ Mad Max" on WSJU Radio at St. John's University. He talked about growing up in Braddock, Pennsylvania, his love of football at an early age, his time at California University of Pennsylvania, and signing with the New York Jets as an undrafted free agent. He talked about what he learned from Rex Ryan, Todd Bowles, and now what he has learned from the current defensive coordinator Gregg Williams. Rontez also told me what the NFL helmets are currently like and being a defensive player in this era of football. His main goal this season is to help the New York Jets end their playoff drought. He is also a Hip-Hop artist that goes by the name of Teddy P. He has a few singles out on all platforms now including F**k Em and Lucky. He has his own record label called BH the label. One artist he has on his label is Banga Cyss, who released a new project recently called The Vibe. The Vibe is available on all platforms as well.
