I want to thank my brother Loko Warbucks and his crew Mani and G Sleazy for coming on my show "Sports and Hip Hop with DJ Mad Max" last night on WSJU radio at St. John's University. This interview is for Loko Warbucks' debut album Winter Sprinter, which will be available on all music platforms this Friday, March 1st! We broke down all the tracks on the album as well as the backstory behind them. The intro on this album is one of the greatest into's that I have ever heard, if not the greatest. He spit a surprise killer freestyle over Big L and Jay-Z's '95 freestyle instrumental with Stretch and Bobbito. Like I have said before, Loko embodies the real Hip-Hop sound and he is very versatile with his styles of music. This episode is now available on my website: https://maxrcoughlan.com/sports-and-hip-hop.html. You will be redirected from my website to Podbean to listen to this interview!

He talked about his good deeds and his charity work off the field as well as his college career at SMU. He described what it was like being drafted and playing for one of his favorite teams growing up the Pittsburgh Steelers. He also told us what Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin is like as well as the ex-New York Jets head coach Todd Bowles.      I want to thank Shawn Stockman for calling into my show last night. He is very personable and tells it like it is. He gave his opinion of the current generation of RnB artists out now as well as the Grammys. He gave backstories on most of the Boyz II Men albums including their first album Cooleyhighharmony, in which he said that every song on that album are their demos. The story behind their 1997 masterpiece album Evolution is heartbreaking, in which race started to play an issue with the direction of the group, in which they thought they might be finished with music. However, they would go on to make more great albums such as Nathan Michael Shawn Wanya, Full Circle,  Throwback, Vol. 1, Collide, Love, and as well as their most recent Under The Streetlight. This year is the 25th anniversary of their sensational 1994 album "II", in which the Boyz II Men logo came into effect and would forever leave an imprint on music. They are going on tour for their anniversary of  "II", so be on the lookout because they may be heading to your city soon! We talked about how technology is changing our world. We discussed his newest Ep titled Shawn and he will be releasing his first solo album this May! It is possible that we could also get another Boyz II Men album as well. Shawn also has a radio show on Dash Radio called Boomerang Radio, in which I highly recommend everyone to go check it out. On his radio show he plays 90s music along with talented artists from today. Shawn's passion's are playing the guitar and performing for fans. God bless you and keep doing what makes you happy! Thank you for everything you have done for music and we all can't wait to see what you have coming next!
